Adam and I had a great time celebrating Easter on Saturday night in our new apartment in downtown Cleveland.
We started the night by coloring eggs. Neither of us have ever boiled eggs before so thank God for the internet.. they turned out fine. We only had seven eggs so we just prepared seven bowls of all different colors. It was fun because neither of us had colored eggs in years!
Next, we had an Easter egg hunt. We filled the eggs with some of our favorite Easter candy: Andes mints, peanut butter filled eggs, caramel filled eggs, jelly beans, and crispy chocolate eggs. We each got 6 eggs to hide for the other person. Adam chose to hide them in the bedroom and bathroom, so I was left with the living room and kitchen. Who ever found their eggs the fastest wins breakfast in bed. I did horrible. I only found two before I gave up. Adam found four so he won. He also cheated by hiding three of them up high where I couldn't see. He also hid one in the back of the toilet, then used the toilet and accidentally flushed the egg. We didn't realize this until after the hunt. It was hilarious. Fingers crossed that it won't block the pipes at all.
Finally, we ate all of our Easter candy while watching TV together. The next day we ate the hard boiled eggs for breakfast. Adam claimed this was the first time he has eaten one. He did not enjoy it at all. I guess I will have to finish the rest. This date was super easy and we were laughing a lot. We'll have to do it again next year!
