Minions came to Netflix this month so naturally I planned a date night around it.
This is one of those quick and easy dates for a lazily night at home.
First, we got some Minion food. We found a Minion peep and Despicable Me fruit snacks at Giant Eagle. I also made a chocolate chip cookie cake with some yellow and blue sprinkles.
Second, we made a Minion cocktail. The cocktail consisted of 99 Bananas, Peach Schnapps and Orange Pineapple juice. Minions love bananas and fruit in general and this drink definitely reflected that. I put in a few banana Runts candies as garnish. It was pretty fruity - but tasted great!
Third, we watched the movie. It was really cute but not nearly as funny as I was expecting. It was pretty silly and probably longer than necessary but definitely seemed like a great movie for kids!
