Across the street from our apartment building there is a cute little park. Normally, its pretty quiet and all we usually see are a few dogs being walked. During the summer months they have a Pop Up Party once a month! They usually have a beer garden, food trucks and live entertainment. We decided to go to the last one of the year! We also met our friend, Lauren, there!

First, we went to the Beer Garden, and each got a Great Lakes Brewing Company beer. We got Oktoberfest and Dortmunder. Both tasted like beer, but I was pleasantly surprised at liking the Oktoberfest.

Then we moved over to the food trucks where Adam and I each purchased a cupcake at Sweet! The Mobile Cupcakery. Adam got a buckeye cupcake, and I got cookies and cream. We both liked them, but they weren't that special. The best part was the cute little truck they came from! Lauren was different and decided to get sushi. She shared and it was pretty good!

The live entertainment for the night was Justo Saborit Latin Soul. They were really entertaining, and some of the crowd even got on their feet and started dancing!

We were so glad we were able to attend the last Pop Up Party in the Plaza this week. Spending the night outside in downtown Cleveland with beer, cupcakes and music was excellent!
