We had a simple at home date. We made vanilla ice cream in our Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker. We've had our ice cream maker for awhile. We've tried a variety of different flavors, but vanilla seemed best for this date. The ice cream make is pretty simple to use. Freeze the bowl in for a few hours or days, mix the ingredients then pour it in the frozen bowl. The machine does the rest!
After we let the ice cream freeze a bit more we made our sundaes. We bought a bunch of our favorite ice cream toppings including Nerds, Reese's Pieces, chocolate sauce, butterscotch sauce, cookie dough, etc. We had fun mixing all of the different items with our ice cream. Then we enjoyed our sundaes while watching Potterhead Weekend on ABC Family.
We both love ice cream so we enjoyed this date and we'll probably do it again. :)
